Have you ever heard of the Leprechaun? The Irish fairy that kept a pot of gold full of coins on the other side of the rainbow? At least you’ve of that mystical thing: the rainbow…?

The legend of the leprechaun was the very first Irish myth I learnt (and at that time I didn’t even know it was Irish) and it fascinated me. I was very young as I never had the opportunity to see a rainbow for real so this rainbow thing was kind of a legend itself. The unbelievable thing for a little girl.
Since that my goal had been to see a rainbow in front of me. I knew the ingredients required: when the sun made its way through the clouds, I’d pray for the rain and when rain was pouring down, I’d pray for the sun to shine.
The hunt was tough, but I never gave up, though one of my flaws is that I’m always super impatient.
Then, desires are always fulfilled when we least expect them to.
Yes, I saw my very first rainbow. (it’s not the above photo lol)
It looked like I was living a dream. Si magical and mysterious! Where does it start? Where does it end? What about the leprechaun? I need to find its pot of gold! Yep I believed in the myth with all my heart.
And now everytime I see a rainbow, just like the one I captured for this week’s challenge, I wish to believe again in the Irish fairy and be back on the hunt for the pot of gold.
We should dare to follow our heart’s desires like we used to do when we were young. Of course the goals we now have are way more complicated and all… But for a little girl, don’t you think it was hard to search for the rainbow, something she never really believed it to exist except in cartoons?
So arise! And dare launch yourselves up to your most unbelievable dreams
An Evil Nymph.
