Today on the 1st August 2012 An Evil Nymph’s Blog officially celebrates its one year anniversary!! Yeah!!

Oh my god I can’t believe I’ve come to this, I mean I barely remember my very first post? At first I really didn’t know what I was doing with this blog, I just crazy wanted to have a random blog which would be totally different from my makeup one. I had no idea that by a year I would have 15,238+ views and 301 email followers already! I never knew that I would meet such a friendly and wide community of awesome and talented bloggers and unleashed my dormant passion for writing. I never knew that I would have increased my confidence and determination in life.
I would never have thought that I would be learning that much in one year!
Why start a blog in the first place?
If I remember well, I was tired of writing for myself in my diary and tired to share my thoughts on makeup only. The writer inside of me who was previously in a sleep mode had started to awaken… and so I wanted to write about more things… express myself on the internet. Some years back, I was somewhat afraid to share my opinions on the internet although I had been tempted to blog – I hadn’t felt ready.
But finally it’s not that much harmful.
The bloggers I’ve met are so kind and open
Only spam can be annoying!
And blogging has brought so many things in my life.
I met great minds and friends. I learnt a bit about web design, photo editing, marketing… I learnt how to improving my writing. How to inspire and be inspired. I learnt hope. Motivation. Love. Life.
And most important of all, I learnt the beautiful art of sharing
Why will I continue to blog?
Blogging is a support; it encourages me to dare. For example I did and won NaNoWriMo last year. And today I will begin Camp NaNoWriMo!
It is an interface which enables me to express myself and have responses. So that I feel less lonely.
It tells me to hope for a better future, because the past was full of mistakes, but in truth, the present is what is most important. The Now. Because when I blog, I only see now and nothing else. I savour every moment of my life, or at least I try. I try to do my best.
Indeed, blogging has made me happier.
And last but not least…
Thank you to all my faithful readers and supporters!! ♥
I would already have given up blogging if it was not for you!
Happy blogging guys!
An Evil Nymph.
