Weekly Photo Challenge: Beyond

by evilnymphstuff

Maybe for some of you it’s not Wednesday yet, but here it is, early in the morning! Thus it’s time for… a wordpress Weekly Photo Challenge! (to see my blogging plans for this year, check out The Art of Planning a Blog)

This week’s theme is beyond.

And here’s my photographic interpretation:

beyond castle walls

This photo has been taken from my roof :P

Beyond the castle walls, there lived a princess.

She was overprotected above all, being the king’s only heir.

But here she stood every day and night, on the highest tower, up on the roof.

Here she stared and wondered at what could be beyond her castle walls.

beyond

Oh how she wanted to escape this life of hers.

Not to be imprisoned, but to fly away like a bird.

Thus she ran round and round.

But still, castle walls were all around.

She shouted and cried, yet no one would hear.

She was out of her mind.

One day, she looked last on the blue sky and the undiscovered world.

She walked towards them, but was limited by the castle walls.

Therefore she looked down, past the limits.

And fell to her own freedom.

What is your interpretation of ‘beyond’?

An Evil Nymph.

  1. you live in a nice place, believe me, the princess will regret what she wishes for, a protected princess is just like a caged bird, if the bird flies away from the cage, it will never survive !

  2. Excellent, both the writing and the photos for the theme… ;-)

  3. I like your interpretation. Mine might be a tall, snowy mountain range. What is beyond it? There’s only one way to find out.

  8. “Daphnée, Daphnée, let down your hair so that I can show you what BEYOND is…” The prince called out.

“I would love to, my prince…but my hair is still way BEYOND your reach.”

    Cheers~ :D
