Suddenly she burst out of the room.
She had known it all along. Her boss was an evil monster. She had seen him, his face vehemently changing into a disgusting greyish weird shape, while his nose and eyebrows had seemed to melt and his teeth falling off…

Ciara grinned at her mother and widened her eyes in the way that would make any glacier melt. She knew that she was doing this every morning and that every morning she would be late to school because of this.

To accept what you are, is to welcome all your qualities and flaws, telling them that it’s all right for them to exist, although some can lead to your downfall while others can put you up on a pedestal.

Aiden looked up at the white paper sky. He often wondered what lay behind this sheet of clouds. People passed by him. He knew that they all thought that he was crazy. But he knew that he was not.

“Drink it and you will find love.” The old woman with the crooked nose grinned at me. Her rotten teeth showed off. “The One will come to you and your wish will finally come true.”
It’s Friday! Yeah! So as promised, here’s my weekly contribution to this week’s Picture it & Write:
Falling in love… who would ever want to even fall?
It seems like walking without looking at your feet, with the unconscious knowledge of the destination, and then suddenly, there’s a precipice.
And you fall.
So yesterday as I reached around 46,000+ words, I surprisingly typed:
THE END
And I still had at least 4000 words to write so as to reach the final 50,000 word goal for NaNoWriMo.
We have only one month, 30 days, to write a whole novel of at least 50,000 words. That means at least 1,667 words per day. For many, this sounds like an impossible challenge. For others, they know they can do it, because they’ve done it before. And for a few, it is way too easy and the word count exceeds the 50k limit quickly.
But whether it’s a piece of cake or of rock to you, we all have this tendency of rush and urgency when it comes to NaNoWriMo.

Back to the ‘Unpredicted’ series! So here’s this week’s picture it and write:
With years of perseverance and practice, a vampire was able to refrain from jumping at any human being and sucking all their blood. That was why I, Clare, was still alive, although a few moments earlier, Caleb, who I once thought was a very close friend but who turned out to be a bloodsucking vampire, had been draining a poor man, hidden in the fogs, on the bridge that separated the sophisticated city and the dark evergreen forest.
The ‘Unpredicted’ series continues with another Picture it & Write!
A bridge, it created a link between two different worlds, it made way for us to discover new horizons. My mother used to tell it to me when we would be walking hand in hand on the bridge which would lead us to an amazing park. A wild forest, they called it, but I did not believe that dancing trees and singing birds were considered wild. It was the most peaceful place I have ever gone to.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted some fiction! And I have to catch up on ‘Unpredicted’ – a mini series of short stories which is inspired weekly by Picture it & Write You can see that I’ve published a new page just below the ‘An Evil Nymph’ banner, next to the ‘Another Blog!’ tab, called ‘The ‘Unpredicted’ series’ where I’ll be updating the ‘chapters’ (if we should call these chapters) of the series as it progresses every week…
