Since I missed the ‘delicate‘ theme, I decided to blend it with this week’s ‘surprise‘!
Delicate
When I think of ‘delicate’, I think of something fragile and sweet… Desserts?
I Think WAY Too Much!
So this is Christmas…
But what have you done?
That night I saw an angel fall from the sky. Her golden hair gradually lost its shine as she reached the ground. Her beautiful white gown was stained with dirt. I could not see her eyes or her face, but I knew that she was the loveliest thing that could ever exist on Earth. She looked so fragile and innocent.
Today, I’d like to share something special to you. I’m sorry if I’m missing the Weekly Photo Challenges – they’ll come a little late.
It’s Christmas time and every in the world, people are gathering within their family, among their friends, buying gifts, giving and receiving them, preparing Christmas dinner, and most of all, putting up the Christmas tree.
All right I know that in my previous post I promised you a beautifully well-written guest post, but something happened today that I have to share with you! I can’t stand to keep it all to myself. And don’t worry, the guest post will come just after that.

First of all, what is a sponsor? Well when a company/business sponsors something it means that it is supporting the ‘something’ financially and in return the ‘something’ gives credit to the business/company by offering publicity.
This year, I’m part of the school’s editing team for the school magazine
and we need sponsors to support the magazine. Money just doesn’t come out of thin air, you know.
The title sounds so childish, don’t you think so? Anyway.
My 6th year at secondary school will start on Thursday! Excited? Thrilled? uh… well I guess I got used to it. So bye bye holidays and welcome uniforms and homework… My schedule will be tighter too.
But to spice up those long days at school and tuition, I crafted a pencil case (which I always do since I learnt how to make one… thanks to school lol) like this one:

In Mauritius we are currently not in winter but in summer! Yep I always celebrate Christmas in summer ^^ But winter can also be associated with our moments of sadness and depression. When we feel bad, winter has settled in our mind. It’s all gloomy and dull…
But then we only need to light a match to melt the snow, to think positively again

This was my little cousins playing with sorts of firecraking sticks (harmless and beautiful!) for New Year.
In this wonderful period of renaissance (New Year) we should light up our inner winters and let the sun shine through!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,000 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.
Click here to see the complete report.
Wow WordPress really impressed me with that!!! This report thing with the breath-taking colourful design is so awesome
Thank you to all my visitors and commenters! ♥ Wish you all again a happy new year ;D
Sorry for the irregularity of my posting habit of today lol! Two posts in a row! Whew! Don’t worry, just go and enjoy yourself, I won’t bother your inbox anymore for this very first day of 2012 xD Let’s party in the outside world as well haha!

(This is my school diary 2012… the only hard copy diary I have. The others are on PC i.e. my secret one and my blogs
)
After Christmas, here comes New Year! These holidays are seriously those that make me eat a lot! LOL Huge dinners, chocolate, ice cream…
Christmas is finally here
And because this is an appropriate time for giving, I would like to share two blog awards with you! In fact I have been receiving the Versatile blogger award many times and most were given by Andy from dragoneystory.wordpress.com and the One Lovely Blog award from Ermilia (ermiliablog.wordpress.com) which I didn’t find time to pass on.
So I’m going to give both to 10 bloggers out there, excluding those who gave them to me. This will be my special christmas gift. The lucky winners are (in no particular order):
This is me and my Sony camera in front of our Christmas tree

Alright I know that you can’t clearly see me through the red ball… but well I like the effect. I wanted my face to be clearer in the ball but there wasn’t better than that.
Anyway I’m busy with the end of year season and having fun nevertheless and I hope that you do too!
Today many Wiccans in the world are celebrating the winter solstice, also know as Yule. I’m not much of a practitioner myself because my family is strongly Catholic (not that they are narrow-minded but well… they somewhat know that I’m interested in Wicca anyway) but I love Wicca traditions and I always wear my purple pentacle during those seasonal festivals. Sometimes I find the time and opportunity to light a candle or incense for the goddess or use runes and symbols especially for healing and protection…
Wicca is simply everywhere.
Today it’s been raining cats and dogs though we had 100% sunshine during the whole week… and I’d like to thank the Goddess for that because my country has been lacking fresh water and we were in a period of drought.

My dear friend Aurora made a Christmas Wishlist not a long time ago and I love this post so much that I wanted to share it to you and also my wishlist. The things we should wish for should be more abstract (like peace, love, etc) than material (iPhone, toys, etc), because in the end we find out that the toys begin to wear out and break whereas love of your parents or any other relative and friend remains forever.
As I’m a fan of Wiccan traditions I also know that Yule is coming soon (around the 21st) and this is in a way Christmas’s ancestor. It is to celebrate the winter solstice. Don’t forget to light your red and green candles
So here’s my Christmas/Yule wishlist for the year ending 2011 ![]()
