Is It The End Of The World Yet?

by evilnymphstuff

In a few hours, as predicted by the Mayans – or more precisely, the media – we will all be die. It is the end of our world.

Or not.

2012 end of the world

Do you believe in any of this? I don’t. In about 2 hours, here it will be the 22/12/12 and there still hasn’t been any tsunami warning or violent cyclones or incoming flood or deadly earthquakes… Or not even snow. (NB: it never snows in tropical regions, so if there will ever be snowing here in Mauritius, I believe it might be a reason to get worried.)

Weekly Photo Challenge: Free Spirit

by evilnymphstuff

Free spirit… It’s the freedom of choice. The freedom of being who you are. Because, what is more beautiful than someone standing out from the crowd? To make a difference? To break the social order and prove that… in the end, everyone is unique. No one should be deprived of his/her uniqueness.

:)

Did that make any sense?

True Love Is A Miracle

by evilnymphstuff

Hi I just wanted to share this video with you today:

Watch it ’til the end – for sensible souls, just keep a handkerchief with you!

It’s so beautiful isn’t it? It’s like living in a fairy tale and finally discovering the true meaning of true love. It’s inspiring and hopeful. It makes me smile and make me believe that in the end, this kind of love might still exist.

Sometimes A Break Is All We Need

by evilnymphstuff

Writing is fun.

In fact, many things are considered to be fun.

At least, until someone comes in and tries to direct what we do.

What I mean is, yes if we want to publish a novel one day, we have to make an effort and write regularly. To love writing is to have fun everyday when we write, right? But in the long run, the fingers get tired, the brain gets fed up of the same story. Is this normal? Is writing really for me, you might ask yourselves?

Christmas’s Ancestor: Yule

by evilnymphstuff

Today many Wiccans in the world are celebrating the winter solstice, also know as Yule. I’m not much of a practitioner myself because my family is strongly Catholic (not that they are narrow-minded but well… they somewhat know that I’m interested in Wicca anyway) but I love Wicca traditions and I always wear my purple pentacle during those seasonal festivals. Sometimes I find the time and opportunity to light a candle or incense for the goddess or use runes and symbols especially for healing and protection…

Wicca is simply everywhere.

Today it’s been raining cats and dogs though we had 100% sunshine during the whole week… and I’d like to thank the Goddess for that because my country has been lacking fresh water and we were in a period of drought.
