I Think WAY Too Much!
This week’s photo challenge theme is escape, which is a word that can strike every one of us in various different ways, in terms of feelings, images…
All right, this week’s photographic theme is ‘up’.
I bet that, like me, most of you thought of the movie ‘Up’, am I not right? Hehe
Didn’t watch it? Well, what are you waiting for? It’s such a sweet touching and fun animation!
Anyway, this isn’t what I’m contributing for the challenge, but this is:
Maybe for some of you it’s not Wednesday yet, but here it is, early in the morning! Thus it’s time for… a wordpress Weekly Photo Challenge! (to see my blogging plans for this year, check out The Art of Planning a Blog)
This week’s theme is beyond.
And here’s my photographic interpretation:
This photo has been taken from my roof
Gratitude is something that everyone should practice on a daily basis. It makes us realise that there are so many things in life that we have, that we love. And that’s a great way to start the day, with a good mood, by thinking of all the things we have instead of complaining about all the things we don’t have. What do you think?
Here continues the ‘Unpredicted’ series with another Picture it & Write!

Do you believe in what some would call the uplifting of human consciousness? Do you believe in not only physical but mental evolution? What happens when someone has achieved a level of higher consciousness and sees with new sharpened eyes, hears with more sensitive ears, smells things that are kilometres away? What is going on as every little part of the world has opened up for us to see things clearer… for us to understand and know better?
Blue? When I think of blue I automatically think of the sky, because here in Mauritius the sky is really always blue. It’s amazing. There is pollution but it’s not enough to break Mother Nature’s spell on our dear little island…

And I like how the green leaves just contrast this vivid gradient blue. This is the Mauritian sky, guys. Viewed from my school’s premises today 17/05, which is by the way the international day against homophobia!
Enjoy the blue. This is all I have to say for this challenge. Sometimes we have to stop the babbling and just… watch. After all, less is more.

Today as Wiccans we are celebrating the Spring equinox, also known as Ostara. It’s one of the eight Wiccans sabbats and thus a time to be closest to the God and Goddess. Blessed Be!

It’s an ideal time to take a walk outside in parks or forests… Be around nature. Feel its motherly energy.
I’ve read that earth meditation is great too and very simple to do, especially if you’re a solitary practitioner. You just have to lie on the ground in a natural park/place where you won’t be disturbed and start taking in the vibrant energies that the Goddess provides in such a blossoming time.
Therefore, merry Ostara everyone! Whether you being Wiccan or not, we are all allowed to celebrate Spring together

Sorry for I’m a bit late in this week’s photo challenge. Anyway these days, I’ve mainly been indulged in…

Yes, in the thickest of all school books I’ve ever had to study! It’s nicknamed the ‘dictionary’ of sociology. I’m fortunate that the subject is interesting… ^^
Getting serious about my studies hehe.
