Christmas Presents In Advance | Edition 2013

by evilnymphstuff

I remembered I made a similar post back in 2011 when I received my first and only Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy SII, in addition to a wonderful book of course.

Well this year, I also decided to get myself something tech-y as well as books and since I got my gifts way before Christmas (i.e. for more than a week)… today’s post is born!

But first, for the sake of the Christmas and holiday spirit, I’d like to share with you an event a group of YouTubers, including me, are doing to help other YouTubers, as during the holiday season we want to Do Good :)

Here it is:

Hope you have some spare time to watch it! If not, without further ado, here are my 2013 Christmas presents!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Let There Be Light!

by evilnymphstuff

Let there be light” to “It is finished” only amounted to bo-oum.

A Passage to India by E. M. Forster

I hope I got the quote right… Didn’t check but then a few weeks ago I was revising this book for my literature exams :P

Anyway… LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Weekly Photo Challenge is Back! | Unexpected

by evilnymphstuff

unexpected weather

Yeah I’m getting back to the dailypost’s weekly photo challenge! And this week’s theme is ‘unexpected‘.

What I found unexpected lately was that instead of the sunny shiny weather we should have in summer, we are being drained in rain almost everyday since the holidays began. Though, let’s be frank, I like that rainy weather and that’s mainly because it’s not intolerably hot then. So I’m not suffocating in an overheated air!

The photo I chose for the challenge was one taken by my sister when we were at the hotel during the weekend and it kind of rained a lot the last day of our stay.

So no, don’t worry there’s no flood around my area, this is just a pool! A swimming pool.

Anyway, please feel free to leave your interpretation of ‘unexpected’ below!

If you want to watch the latest vlog I filmed (I did it at the hotel itself! Great way to start the holidays, right?) just go to the ‘Vlogging Channel’ tab at the top of this blog or just click HERE! By the way, I edit the ‘Vlogging Channel’ tab every time I upload a new video, thus showing you my latest vlog :)

Have a great day!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Fresh

by evilnymphstuff

colourful iPod nano back cover

I want to start over. I want to start fresh.

I want to push aside the past and write my own future. Take my own decisions.

And I began by painting the back cover of my iPod nano (I had it since 2008!) so that my musical box would start fresh again as well. A new background. A new cover. New colours and a tree to show the way up. Growing up means to go forward.

Peace and love, guys. :)

What is your interpretation of fresh? Feel free to share your thoughts below!

The ‘I’M GUILTY’ Episode!

by evilnymphstuff

One more week and my exams will finally be over. ONE WEEK! Well, they end on Thursday. Anyway, I wasn’t supposed to do anything like blogging or YouTubing… but I couldn’t help it. I was much active on Twitter especially.

And I bought art stuff!

Yes, I’m definitely guilty!

Then, yesterday I did the thing that a student in exams period should put last in their to-do list and that is… I did a video. Well I filmed one with the help of my little sister, and now it’s up on YouTube!

I guess it would be inhuman to be able to remain buried in school books 24/24.

So here’s the video:

Only those who aspire to reach glorifying heights in spiritualism are considered eligible to access the mythical kingdom. The kingdom overflows with harmony, love, peace and enlightenment. Inspired by the kingdom, Shamballa bracelets were born. They are exclusive, they are special, and they are trendy and are they only for the rich?

5 Natural Remedies to Treat Acne [Guest Post]

by evilnymphstuff

Acne is something no one wants to deal with, but almost all of us have to face it at some point. Acne can mar your natural beauty, making you feel self-conscious. It can strip you of your confidence and make it hard for you to get out and enjoy being with friends or going places. It can also be quite painful.

You may scrub and scrub your face with soaps, toners and other products that promise to clear your acne, all with no success. Or you may not want to use such harsh chemicals on your face and are looking for natural remedies instead. Here are 5 natural (and effective) remedies that you can use to treat your acne and start taking back your confidence:

Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern

by evilnymphstuff

When I first saw this week’s theme, pattern, it reminded me of my art classes at school a few years back. We had to draw a specific pattern all over an A3 size paper like the wrapping paper style… I didn’t really like it at that time.

Anyway, here’s my take for the challenge, a pattern that appeals much to me:

My 18th Birthday!

by evilnymphstuff

On Friday 3 May 2013, I was finally 18 years old!

Now you’ll know why I wasn’t able to blog until now.

So yeah, on Friday, it was my birthday. I’m not the party-girl type, so I didn’t have a very big party with drinks and evening dresses…

It was better than that.

And that was because we went on our annual educational tour (school outing) on that day! Such a coincidence, right? So we put our pens and copybooks away and headed for the wild forests…

In fact we went to Domaine De Lagrave where we walked among the wilds and climbed on top of a mountain until we thought we would die of exhaustion or cold or… laughter!

“I’m Not Good Enough.”

by evilnymphstuff

This is something that is heard on many occasions, and in my surroundings it is heard especially from students, including me. Why such a low self-esteem attitude?

low self-esteem

Peer pressure, you’d say? What about parent pressure?
