Wonder means dreaming for me 🙂 Dreaming of a better world, a hopeful future and a wonderful present – I mean present time… well I like gifts too. LOL
My cousin was celebrating his 7th birthday – on the same date that my parents were celebrating their 20th anniversary – on the 17th November.
Isn’t that great? 🙂
So for a birthday, what do you usually do? You blow your candle and make a wish right? hehe. So we wonder about our wish… and a birthday is a perfect time to think about what your deepest wish is. Because you can have only one wish.
It’s hard to choose right?
We want so many things: new cars, new phones, money, success, a soulmate, a family…
For me, I like to daydream about becoming a published writer someday… but my grades are so important, so so vital in my life (haha – sarcastic) that I always end up wishing that I worked well, and because of that I’ve stopped making wishes since I don’t know…
But then there are the small little everyday worries, you know, like I feel lonely or like an outsider, because no one understands me, etc – typical adolescent crisis.
So let’s wonder, if you had only one last wish, what would you wish for?
I guess um…
I wish that everyone accepts me as I really am.
Fingers crossed! 🙂
An Evil Nymph.
Happy Bday to your little cousin and your parent’s anniversary!!!! 🙂 i always celebrate my birthday when my daughter’s with me so i can celebrate the one part of my life that i cherish most and that’s my angel 🙂 my wish for every time i have my bday? that i’ll always capture the moment exactly 🙂
Aww that’s so cute! 🙂
Oh, Dear. I think I have carried the adolescent crisis of not being understood into many decades since, LOL. Methinks it the eternal plight of those who think way too much… sounding familiar? lol
Your wonder at the world is duly shared and appreciated as is the wonder of you! Thanks for another thoughtful piece, MD 🙂
PS
I meant to also say that I truly believe you will be one well published writer, you already are here and on your other blogs, it’s only a matter of time with your innate talents, just stay with it 🙂 🙂 🙂
Aww thank you so much for your support Aurora!! Thanks to you all bloggers – you’re my inspiration everyday!
That is so cute…might be a hard candle to blow out:) I wish that every little person coming into this beautiful mysterious world is treated like an invaluable being…that those that have come before have prepared the foundation for these little creatures to grow into towering trees, high soaring birds, gliding happy dolphins…and in return…prepare the landscape for the next wave of precious little beings.
LOL that’s why it blows out by itself. The ‘real’ candle has alreay been blown out: the number 7 ^^
Thanks for sharing this and coming by! 🙂
