Tomorrow is at last the most important festival of the Chinese tradition: the New Year! Even more important than the usual 1st Jan new year… My family and I have a lot to do… and enjoy!
This year will be the year of the Dragon – from the Chinese horoscope.
We’ve been busy ‘spring cleaning’ – yes because Chinese new year also symbolises the coming of spring time 🙂 – and buy new clothes! ^^ Then when the big day comes, we’ll first go to mass (here we’re almost all half-Catholic half-Chinese) and light firecrackers just like the ones I filmed on my New Year’s vid post. Hehe I can’t believe I’m still not deaf! And after a traditional lunch… We’re heading to the hotel!! Yeah! I’m going to stay for two nights thus I’ll return home on Wednesday (missing school I know lol but well every year’s it’s been like that!). I don’t know if I’m going to blog during my stay… Just to let you know. ^^
Happy Chinese New Year! Hope it brings good fortune 🙂 let loose the dragon inside of you!
