The ‘Unpredicted Series‘ continues with this new Picture it & Write!
The lukewarm water rained on my long ebony hair, it slid across my face and flowed all over my body. I was like a mountain. I created waterfalls. I sighed as I pressed the sponge on my shoulder, letting more water down my arm. It felt good to clean oneself in the shower after having woken up from a horrible bad dream.
The moment I would close my eyes under the soft kisses of droplets of water, I could see the face of Caleb and his fangs coming out… lashing out at me…
I shuddered at the thought and opened my eyes.
I did not know I suddenly took a small mirror that was hanging up on the wall, and took a closer look at my neck. I dread that I would find two little red dots.
No, there was nothing. No bites.
It was just a dream.
Thus I closed my eyes again and this time, only the kisses of the water came through my mind. They soothed me.
But I had yet a whole day, where I would have to face him.
The vampire of my dream.
An Evil Nymph
PS: I know it’s a short one today 😛
Lovely! I loved this description – ‘I would close my eyes under the soft kisses of droplets of water’. It was very creative. I like how all your contributions tie together. A nice approach. Thanks for contributing this week to Picture it & write, M.D!

i agree! 🙂
Thank you so much 🙂 It’s such a pleasure!
Short but good….
Long doesn’t ‘always’ equate with good…
‘The kisses of water’ – a lovely description…
Thank you 😀
Being short myself, I will always defend short. 🙂 I have to be careful with comments. I don’t want to influence you into writing something different. Stay strong, Clare!
Hehe! Thanks for reading again this week 🙂
