Weekly Photo Challenge: Wrong

Children who can’t remain still and accidentally break something in someone else’s house… Have they really done something wrong? No I don’t think so.

Personally I believe that we often misunderstand the true meaning of the word ‘wrong’. What is wrong to most people are things that are unconventional, out of the ordinary and that threat to change the way this are.

People fear what they don’t understand, right?

For example, I don’t think that gay marriage is wrong, although many do think so. We should be allowed to marry whoever we wish. Love is love. People are different. This is life.

But I do think that conflicts and war are wrong, which can often be the result of people’s varied opinions, yet it is not wrong to have various opinions.

Bad emerges out of good and vice versa. The two sides balance each other.

We cannot go wrong without being right.

Confusing?

That’s my interpretation of this challenge anyway.

What’s yours?

  1. The perception of what is right or wrong is subjective for each individual – often it is your perceived depends on where you are at a given time also in life – if it change so moved a perception also of what is right and wrong – especially it have something to do with whether you get hit by that right or wrong stuff – “all perceptions have 3 answers – yours, mine and the right, but therefore do the other 2 not have be wrong” – in the short form: I agree with you, but maybe we are wrong… ‘hahaha’

For example, being parents will change many people’s perception of many things, whether these things are right or wrong – later when they become grandparents so they again change the perception of many things, either back to the original or something else… 😉

  2. I agree. It is not the kids fault. They are playful and they will not keep still the way adults will. And it is an accident. I feel worse for the kid. The fear and the guilt. I was once a kid too. There was a time we would skip parties when my son was smaller because some “so called friends,” labeled him as to playful. Friends, really? Great post!
