Hi December!

December has already started but it’s only today that I finally got the time to sit down and write the first December post! Since NaNoWriMo is over, I’ve been enjoying myself a lot hehe, and thus taking a little break from my novel. I’ll start the editing maybe next week 🙂

To begin, I’d like to thank every blogger who has been giving me awards this month!

Thanks to you,

Book To The Future for nominating me for the Gargie Award and the Liebster Award!

Gerry’s Space and ABC of Spirit Talk for nominating me for the Blog of the Year 2012 award!

This one is kind of interesting and it’s a new type of award too.

It says:

The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award.

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!).

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them.

5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience.

6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…!

So here are the chosen stars 🙂

Did I miss anyone? There are so many wonderful bloggers I’ve had the pleasure to meet during my WordPress blogging adventure… I guess I did miss anyway because I remember many blogs but whose link I’ve forgotten! Well, when the memory comes back I’ll update the list 😛

Now how am I going to tell all those people that they’ve just received a Star? *sigh too much work!* Hope they see it!

Okay nominees! For more details about the award, just go to:  http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/

Finally, since this ‘monthly’ post does not come with awards without a sort of recap of my favourite websites/links of the month which I always love to share with you all…:

1. How to Stop Being Jealous

2. DIY Bracelets Tutorials

3. 5 Ways to Find Your Center when Life feels Overwhelming

4. How to Write 50,000 in 24 hours!

5. So during NaNoWriMo there were NaNoToons and the new and famous NaNoMusical! Yeah!!

6. All new & revised: On Word Count and Novel Lengths

7. 3 Ways to Organise Your Clothes Using Your PC

8. For bloggers just starting out: How to Start Your Own Personal Style Blog

9. Etsy: I love the ‘Quit Your Day Job’ posts…

10. Do you want to know which famous author write just like you? Here’s I Write Like! I got Chuck Palahniuk 🙂

11. A writing group and online workshop for serious writers – Scribophile!

12. And finally, How to get over those depressing mood swings?

Enjoy this December! And hopefully we have more than 17 days left before the end of the world 😉

An Evil Nymph.
