WPC: Threes | A Hidden Murder Mystery

This week’s photo challenge is the theme of ‘Threes‘ in which we have to tell a story using three photos. Here’s what the Daily Post suggested:

To create a three-picture story, gather:

  1. An establishing shot: a broad photo of your subject.
  2. A relationship: two elements interacting with one another.
  3. A detail: a close-up of one part of your subject.

Thus, today I’m going to show you a story about… a hidden murder mystery!

It all happened in my friend’s cosy kitchen, where we were preparing some delicious Mauritian Napolitaine biscuits…

Just looking at that photo makes me want to eat them all over again!

Anyway, moving on to the story… We made different shapes and sizes and build a cute community of biscuits…

We even created different coating styles concerning the icing part, making this little village a multicultural one. Many of the biscuits developed a unique sense of fashion as you can see.

They of course had no idea that, like in Hansel and Gretel, we were spoiling them only to their doom… and death. If they were already dead when we previously put them in the oven…?

However, no one paid attention to a particular biscuit… A biscuit half-alive, literally murdered in half, only begging for mercy in a corner of the grill…

Its blood and guts were flooding out of its half body, and although the little flower did notice it at the end and tried to save it… it was already too late. Now, who was its murderer?? Would Detective Little Flower carry on with this investigation? No, we’d probably eat her before.

God… such a morbid mind! This story was actually being made while we were decorating the biscuits!

My friend and I were the wicked witches of course in the story but in the end we were merciful enough to eat the broken one first… By the way we didn’t break it in half on purpose… but since it was actually an accident it entirely caught our attention!

So there it is, my take for this challenge. If you found this too weird and morbid… don’t forget on whose blog you are… An Evil Nymph 😉

Oh and I’d like to add one last shot of that day, non-challenge related, which actually really resembles a murder scene:

The biscuits at the back are the witnesses to the horrible death of one of their fellow comrades! See how he’s lying down in wide pools of pink bloood?? Being covered in pink blood himself… 😛

So what do you think? Tell me anything in the comments below!
