You can’t.
Let’s face the truth: there is no escape, no short-cut. When Love gets to us, we are trapped… forever. Trapped in a vicious circle of loving blindly, getting hurt, moving on… well you thought you moved on, and then, you fall in love again only to get hurt again. Until you find the One. If you ever do.
Isn’t that sad.
Here’s my contribution to this week’s Picture it & Write 🙂 Enjoy:
My gloves, my pearls… My ballerina shoes. I left them all behind as I lead myself away from the life I had had to endure.
Indeed, it was over…
Here’s this week’s Picture it & Write and my contribution:
Purple and blue are my favourite colours. When I look at them, they stare back at me with a face of helplessness and despair.
Does that mean that I’m a desperate girl?
Maybe for some of you it’s not Wednesday yet, but here it is, early in the morning! Thus it’s time for… a wordpress Weekly Photo Challenge! (to see my blogging plans for this year, check out The Art of Planning a Blog)
This week’s theme is beyond.
And here’s my photographic interpretation:
This photo has been taken from my roof 😛
Narrow-mindedness kills, you know?
It prosecutes, with no mercy. It spreads fear and sadness. It divides.
My father once told me not to write controversial, unconventional stories or ‘blasphemous’ ones. I read between the lines: people will judge and condemn – their narrow-mindedness will crush me down.
So I tried. To do as he had said.
But I couldn’t.
Free spirit… It’s the freedom of choice. The freedom of being who you are. Because, what is more beautiful than someone standing out from the crowd? To make a difference? To break the social order and prove that… in the end, everyone is unique. No one should be deprived of his/her uniqueness.
🙂
Did that make any sense?
