This is an article that I had written for my school’s School Magazine 2012/13. Now that the magazine is officially and finally published and out there, I think that it’s then eventually all right to at last share with you what I wrote. Hope you like it! Don’t forget to share your views as well in the comment box below 🙂
“I won’t have a gay son.”
“Then, mom, you don’t have a son.”
In the award-winning television film, Prayers for Bobby, Bobby Griffith decided to end his life because he could not live with the guilt of being homosexual. Although he had gone to live on his own with an understanding cousin and his caring boyfriend, he could no longer bear it. He could not live while knowing that his mother did not accept him as he was.
This film is based on a true story.

Happy Labour Day everyone!
This week’s Picture it & Write comes a little earlier this week, because there’s going to be a surprise on Friday 😉 So stay tuned!
All right, so without delay, enjoy my contribution:
Come to the ocean of love…
My ears sprang up; I put down my cup of tea and daily newspaper and reached out to the radio.
I turned up the volume.
Come to the ocean of love…

It’s Friday! Yeah! So as promised, here’s my weekly contribution to this week’s Picture it & Write:
Falling in love… who would ever want to even fall?
It seems like walking without looking at your feet, with the unconscious knowledge of the destination, and then suddenly, there’s a precipice.
And you fall.

In a few hours, as predicted by the Mayans – or more precisely, the media – we will all be die. It is the end of our world.
Do you believe in any of this? I don’t. In about 2 hours, here it will be the 22/12/12 and there still hasn’t been any tsunami warning or violent cyclones or incoming flood or deadly earthquakes… Or not even snow. (NB: it never snows in tropical regions, so if there will ever be snowing here in Mauritius, I believe it might be a reason to get worried.)

Today as Wiccans we are celebrating the Spring equinox, also known as Ostara. It’s one of the eight Wiccans sabbats and thus a time to be closest to the God and Goddess. Blessed Be!
It’s an ideal time to take a walk outside in parks or forests… Be around nature. Feel its motherly energy.
I’ve read that earth meditation is great too and very simple to do, especially if you’re a solitary practitioner. You just have to lie on the ground in a natural park/place where you won’t be disturbed and start taking in the vibrant energies that the Goddess provides in such a blossoming time.
Therefore, merry Ostara everyone! Whether you being Wiccan or not, we are all allowed to celebrate Spring together 🙂
An Evil Nymph.
What if you were God and you could watch us all from your divine tower up there? What would you see?
You might see the beauty… or the disasters. It could be sunny… or cloudy.
For once, I could catch a peaceful view:
A light breeze was refreshing a very hot day while we waited for the cool evening to come…
This photograph was taken from Le Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis, Mauritius.
I was walking up the stairs at that time and for once, I decided to look down.
God looks down all the time. He watches over us. Just like we should watch over the weaker, the poorer.

It’s really true you know, the fact that your characters tend to build the story by themselves. My NaNo novel is quie different from my actual planning, but that’s great. As I type on, I keep getting more ideas, I get to know more about my characters. It’s awesome!
And how is NaNo stalking me? Well, my story is about Angels and Daemons and right now I’m concentrating on the most gorgeous one called Gabriel, and on Saturday when I went shopping, I could stop seeing ‘angelic’ things. Don’t worry, no Hallucinations! What I mean is that in stalls I could see clothes which make you feel like you are an angel when you put it on, just like this one:
