I want to start over. I want to start fresh.
I want to push aside the past and write my own future. Take my own decisions.
And I began by painting the back cover of my iPod nano (I had it since 2008!) so that my musical box would start fresh again as well. A new background. A new cover. New colours and a tree to show the way up. Growing up means to go forward.
Peace and love, guys. 🙂
What is your interpretation of fresh? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
An Evil Nymph.
With the final end of year exams approaching like a hare in a race, I feel more and more overwhelmed and at times it’s hard for me to find ideas for new posts, but thankfully, I have my ways.
Any type of artists, whether be a writer, a painter, a photographer or even a blogger, has had to face this handicap at one point in their path: block. Writer’s block, painter’s block… The lack of inspiration.
I’ve been talking about this in some previous posts, but they were especially directed to NaNoWriMo participants or writers only, if I remember well, thus I talked about taking a break from the story, setting goals everyday, and participating in challenges like NaNoWriMo to stimulate the desire for writing.
Today I’m going to focus on art in general and I’ll show you my tips to find inspiration again.

Now that summer is here and classes are over you probably have a lot of extra free time to play around with. And while hanging out with friends and goofing off is always the most pleasurable way to spend time, it’s not always the most financially friendly, especially if you have no means of an income. And even if you do have a job and you’re just looking for some easy ways to make extra money to help fund your summer plans, these ideas will help you do just that:
1. Sell old clothes to a resale shop – Instead of hanging on to clothes you never wear or tossing them into a garage sale pile where they’ll sell for a quarter a piece, take them to a local resale shop and sell them there. Some resale shops pay you up front and some pay you as your items sell, but either way you’ll end up with some extra spending money.

“Burning in Heaven”: the final title of my NaNo story.
A very useful exercise to all those who is participating in NaNo:
Know your story well. Do you think you do? Well if the answer is yes, then try to summarise your story in one sentence. If you can, you can proudly say that you’re ready to begin!

Firstly before I go on with the point of this post, which as you can read in my previous post I promised to write, I’d like to share a wonderful, touching post on the ups and downs of friendship – written by Aurora here: FRIENDSHIP: WHAT IS A FRIEND?.
Alright now… we are approaching Nanowrimo… and as I’m a planner, I’ve begun to plan my story and I’ve come halfway to it 🙂
I wrote everything down in a copybook… but as it was a mess, I decided to divide my notes into chapters (I used to do that for fanfictions) by index cards. Each card is one chapter and on one side I write the chapter number, while on the other side I plot main points. This is an awesome way to organise NaNo. Get inspired in an Alexandra Sokoloff’s post: The Index Card Method and Structure Grid.

>>Part one HERE.
Angel: “I wonder what it’s like to be evil.”
Daemon: “I wonder what it’s like to be good.”
Human: “Believe me, I’ve been both.”
This resumes the whole message of the novel and this has been taken from my Idea Copybook! 🙂 It’s all about the Imperfection of Humans, and that we have to accept because no good could have existed without evil and vice versa, don’t you think so? I was reading some informative book about worldwide clans like Satanism and it said that without Satan, there wouldn’t have been any Church. It’s like the Yin and the Yang… both completes each other though they contrast each other.
This is a concept that I totally agree with, that I follow in life.
Used to describe how polar opposites or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. Opposites thus only exist in relation to each other. (Wikipedia)
The background of my NaNo is very fantastical, full of irrealism, but I like to write things like that 😛
So Ere the Earth was born…
