Weekly Photo Challenge: Ready

I’m struggling to find the time to post and read your blogs among school work and activities and family gatherings… I’m going to be super busy this year and I’m sorry if ever I don’t post for a long time or visit your pages less often than before. It’s not because I’ve lost interest in these, I assure you.

So let’s move on to this week’s photo challenge: ready!

Alright my cousin and I were trying to shoot a photo like we were running on the water because its depth was so shallow… But well we’re bad actors! Lol!

Christmas’s Ancestor: Yule

Today many Wiccans in the world are celebrating the winter solstice, also know as Yule. I’m not much of a practitioner myself because my family is strongly Catholic (not that they are narrow-minded but well… they somewhat know that I’m interested in Wicca anyway) but I love Wicca traditions and I always wear my purple pentacle during those seasonal festivals. Sometimes I find the time and opportunity to light a candle or incense for the goddess or use runes and symbols especially for healing and protection…

Wicca is simply everywhere.

Today it’s been raining cats and dogs though we had 100% sunshine during the whole week… and I’d like to thank the Goddess for that because my country has been lacking fresh water and we were in a period of drought.

My NaNoWriMo’11 Novel Idea (part 1)

As you know I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year for the first time (so excited!) and let me tell you that, it’s rather hard to think of an idea that will allow you to write it as a whole 50k words novel in one month.

Since I was 11 years old, I kept a copybook (now I have two of them) in which I would write any idea, any writing inspiration that came to my mind. I recently went through them and wow, the ideas aren’t bad at all! In fact I think that the more we grow up the more we lose some of this sparkling imagination that we had when we were young. Today there is stress, work, etc to tire our brain so…

Passion of Hate, Passion of Love

So I was randomly browsing Yahoo! Answers and I found two curious interesting answers that I wanted to share with you:

One was “Hate is not real.”

Well if hate isn’t real, then love isn’t either because both are passions and promotes to our balanced world… I hate denying one of them… it’s either both or none. What I mean is that I believe that if you have been experiencing passionate love, you’re likely or you have surely felt pure hatred in your life… Or else, you’re altruist or a misanthrope!

The other was a beautiful quote from Martin Luther King, a great man: “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

Well I’d better stick with hate! LOL no I’m kidding don’t worry 😀

Just that I can’t live without both. I need to hate as much as I need to love and I must be despised as much as I’m being loved. That’s my philosophy about passion. 🙂
