On Developing The Incapability Of Feeling Guilt Or Remorse…

I wasn’t sure whether I should have included this post in my Psychology series, but, on second thought, I am actually going to develop a theory of mine here so… here’s the usual disclaimer:

~ Being a future psychology student, I decided to create a new category of posts here on An Evil Nymph’s Blog which will be dealing with some of my weird and crazy theories of life and people. For fun, of course since I don’t have a degree yet. Also I’m not trying to make generalisations and it’ll be best that, as you read on, you imagine putting in the word ‘maybe’ in every sentence. These are only my 19 year old opinions. Anyway, scroll down at your own risk… and enjoy! ~

(Moreover this week, I want to publish two posts in this psychology series because I missed last week’s. So here’s the first one; the second one will be published during the weekend… oh and it’s also why I am not posting on a Friday for this one :P)

Today I came across this video:

It is the main inspiration of this post’s topic, and that’s because the message of Gilbert in all is the fact that change is the only constant thing in our life (for those who won’t bother watching 😉 oh yes I know some of you do that)… which in turn reminds me of an old vlog of mine:

In which I state in other words what Gilbert described as us being work-in-progress… (though, he continues, we believe we are finished as human beings).

Planning A ‘Going To University’ Video Series | I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hey everyone! If you’ve been following my recent posts, you might notice how I’ve been much into photography lately… and more active in the blogosphere as well! However, on the other hand, I’ve also started to vlog again, posting videos more regularly – every Friday – and since I’m currently in that stage between high school and university, I’d like to cover this very subject as a video project to keep me going.

I already know what university I’m going to attend in July – soon! – and my place is already booked and all so I guess that I will soon be doing ‘packing’ videos and such stuff, but I’d also like to do Q&A videos.

And I’d like the questions to come from you guys.

As me anything in the comments below, everything you want to know about going to university, especially if you’re a student applying yourself this year. Even if you’re not a student, just tell me whatever information you would like to know about this high school to university process.

I’ll try my best to answer all of you.

Meanwhile here’s my latest video:

Please fill the comment box below!!! 🙂

It’s never too late for a new blog post either!

For those of you who love to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge as much as I do you may notice how the title relates to the fact that I haven’t been blogging for two weeks but I really want to remedy to that by still giving a shot at one of the challenges I missed which was ‘Selfie’.

1st take:

How To: Light Painting Photography!!!

For Chinese New Year, I did an interesting experiment with my Nikon Coolpix p520, that of the famous light painting! Like this:

smiley light painting

First, I’d like to share the video tutorial that led me to discover this amazing art:

Watch it if you want to know how to do it, because here I’m mainly going to show how it’s not necessary to have all these high tech equipments to achieve the same results.

Basically, here’s what you need to do light painting:

– Torches (any colour! or many colours! I actually used my phone’s flashlight, which was downloaded on Play Store :P)
– Any camera that can be manually set to low exposure (low shutter speed)
– Something stable to put your camera on, like a tripod.
– Preferably a remote control, like in the video above, so as to again minimize shakiness. Because pressing the shutter button directly can make the camera shaky, I guess.
– And most importantly: friends!!! Yeps, and have fun! I had my sister and cousins with me 🙂

The Blogger’s Block

You’ve heard about the writer’s block, the artist’s. Well, here I’m going to talk to you about the blogger’s. Because, yes, bloggers can have this sudden drain of inspiration for new posts and thus are unable to go further into their blogging journey.

And I think that’s exactly what’s been hitting me these last few days.

(Here’s a random photo I took recently to make this post more colourful hehe)

Sometimes we just get caught up with other things as life gets in the way…

But eventually you have to go back to them. Well doesn’t matter, you’ve been entertained, and hopefully now you are more relaxed and alert to start working again and deliver good work or mainly start living again and deliver positive vibes all around you! 🙂 Believe me, people need these vibes as much as you.
