Hi December!

December has already started but it’s only today that I finally got the time to sit down and write the first December post! Since NaNoWriMo is over, I’ve been enjoying myself a lot hehe, and thus taking a little break from my novel. I’ll start the editing maybe next week 🙂

To begin, I’d like to thank every blogger who has been giving me awards this month!

Thanks to you,

Book To The Future for nominating me for the Gargie Award and the Liebster Award!

On Blog Awards & Sharing Links Love…

Have any of you noticed that I missed the Sites Of The Month: October 2012? Usually, at the end of each month I do a sharing-only post where I link every web pages and websites that caught my attention during the month, so that perhaps some of you may find them helpful. But this end of October and beginning of November have been a storm of events for me, and I’m sorry if ever you were waiting for it.

In the last Sites Of The Month posts, I have developed a habit of listing all the blog awards I receive during the month and then instead of following the rules exactly, like the 7 random facts about me I have to list, I change it by giving away a lot of facts about me, yet through my monthly list of favourite links! That’s how I started to merge the ‘Sites of the month’ thing with the listing of blog awards.

And that’s exactly what I’m going to do today.

I feel that it’s important to stop in your tracks for a while, and be grateful for what you received, what you gained along the journey, although you have not completed it yet, and also share it to the world.

So today, I thank:

1. Seasons of Insanity who awarded me with the Reader Appreciation Award:

On Awards and Sites Of The Month: September 2012!

The longer we stay and mingle in this wide world of blogging, the more I meet people and read blogs and the more I am confused when I receive a blog award. Why? Because there are so many of you that I’d love to give awards too… too many! And I can’t feel like choosing only a bunch of you guys, so I guess I’ll change the rules a bit and I just want to say thanks:

To Better With A Pen for awarding me with the One Lovely Blog Award!

Sites Of The Month: August 2012

Hey if you didn’t notice it on the right sidebar…

Indeed! I won the August Camp NaNoWriMo, made it to 50,000+ words since the 29th. Yeah! And today is the very last day to update your word count and win! Don’t be discouraged if you’re not done yet, just keep on writing 🙂 And who knows, you might be printing your winner certificate tonight. (I did yesterday – if you want to see it, check it out on An Evil Nymph’s facebook page here!)

I’ll give you the details of my experience in a later post.

For now, let’s move on to the traditional ‘Sites of the Month’ monthly series, in which I share some useful or inspiring links that I discovered this month, hoping that it’ll be worth for you to check out 🙂

Sites Of The Month: July 2012

This month seemed very long to me because so much happened in these 30 days…

At the beginning I remembered I was much concerned about causes such as bullying and I wish to remind you again that YOU’RE NEVER ALONE. Whether you want to help or seek help…

Sites of the Month: June 2012

I realised that I didn’t discover many new websites for me to share with you this month. To tell you the truth it has been in all a very… moody June, but despite all of this, I am still committed to blogging 🙂 I just can’t let YOU down, my wonderful readers!

That’s why I’m going to start this monthly post by thanking two dear bloggers who have given me awards each during the month! 🙂

I thank Rebecca from The Way I Am for nominating me for the Tell Me About Yourself Award! 🙂

Sites of the Month: May 2012 [+ Kreativ Blogger Award!]

Apart from my birthday, what can I possibly share with you for the month of May…?

First of all let’s say that I was very much concerned about my future as a student – i.e. I was browsing through various universities’ websites, and I’ve found many to which I might apply – all around the world! And then I thought about my career and dreams and I have two of them: creative writing (ha! of course! who wouldn’t have guessed that xD) and performing arts – which is plainly acting.

Sites of the Month: April 2012

‘Busy’ and ‘Moody’ – these two words described this month and are mostly the products of my trip to Malaysia, yet which I’ll never regret of course, because I have to adapt myself again to Mauritius, to school and activities at the same – which includes blogging! I’m still struggling to get back into my routine. *sigh*

Anyway let the list of my bookmarked websites of this month of April begin!

Sites of the Month: March 2012

This month has been very heavy… well it’s only the beginning of my journey to my A-levels. :S

Sometimes I just feel like I’m out of control – just when I’m starting to get organised! – and I just want to give it all up. But when you have awesome friends that can make you laugh for a whole day, you’ll just have to remember these short moments and your smile will last longer than you think despite everything else 🙂

Sites of the Month: December 2011

A wonderful and festive month is already coming to an end. It’s been a busy but also a fun and enjoyable month. I don’t have that much sites to share with you though because I was mainly trying to keep up with reading your blogs and with going out with my friends in the holidays.

It’s funny though that I did find time to learn cartomancy…

I know,  I know, I’m late! It’s already December! I wanted to write this post in the beginning of this week but because of my weekend vacation – I had so much to share with you 😀 – I couldn’t.

Anyway I’m starting to have lots of ideas – good or bad – for posts for both of my blogs and I’m also still moving on with my NaNo novel… + Youtube just made me confused with his new design and I had to adjust my channel to fit it etc… + Christmas is approaching… well just that I’m a bit overwhelmed LOL!

Sites of the Month: October 2011

Before I get to the point of this post…

This month has been very fully active for me. First and foremost: October is the climax of my student life i.e. it involves exams! And worse! Now that Samhain’s Eve and NaNoWriMo are approaching, my international exams have come to their hottest points too! I feel that this week will be a very busy – productive is a nice word too I guess – with all of this. In addition I have to keep up with my two blogs and Twitter and read the blogs I’ve faithfully been subscribed too and therefore I have to check my mail constantly… Moreover now that my sister’s exams are over – she’s just 11 – and as she’s going to secondary school next year I allow her to have a glimpse of internet – i.e. I’m sharing my laptop with her… so I have less time for my virtual activities… which is so frustrating right now! Then there are the passive activities like reading and watching my favourite series, plus my urge of the night: to write in bed in my random copybook (you saw it here) – which is starting to lack pages… aww too bad I so loved it! I’ll ask my friend to buy another for me 😛 (it was a gift from this very friend you see)

But you know what? I love my life that way.

Yes. You read it.

LOL coffee

Haha I always find some interesting image on Google to add some… uh coffee? to a blog post! 😀
